Snap a picture of your plate to instantly estimate calories, macros (protein, carbs, fat, fiber), sugar, sodium, and hydration. Supports Qwen, OpenAI, Mistral, and any OpenAI-compatible endpoint via Custom provider.
Scientific Nutrition Scoring
View your daily FuelScore (0–100) calculated from calorie adherence, macro balance, micronutrient coverage, meal regularity, and satiety quality. Calories are recalculated from macros using scientific Atwater factors.
Personal AI Diet Coach
Get personalized feedback, actionable suggestions, and habit-aware tips tailored to your goals (maintain, lose, or gain weight). Toggle it off anytime for template-based coaching that runs entirely on your device.
Insights & Patterns
Comprehensive nutrition scoring, streak tracking, weekly digest summaries, and visual trend analysis with beautiful charts. The "AI" badge appears only when coaching is genuinely generated by your provider.
True Privacy-First Design
No accounts, no servers, no tracking. All daily logs stored locally in IndexedDB. Your API keys are stored only on your device using built-in secure storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore) and never in IndexedDB or plain text. Keys are sent directly to your chosen provider over HTTPS — we never see or store them.
7 Languages + iOS Widgets
Fully localized in English, Simplified Chinese, German, Spanish, French, Japanese, and Korean. Sync your daily nutrition rings and hydration data to native iOS widgets. Themes include light, dark, and vibrant "Pulse" mode.

Qwen / Alibaba Cloud
New Alibaba Cloud accounts receive 1 million free tokens — enough for months of normal use. The qwen3-vl-flash model is specifically designed for image understanding and handles Chinese cuisine especially well. You can upgrade to qwen3-vl-plus for higher accuracy anytime.
OpenAI
Strong reliability and broad ecosystem support. Slightly more expensive than Qwen but extremely predictable. Pre-filled Base URL and model in FuelFit — swap to gpt-4o for higher accuracy if needed. Start with as little as $5.
Mistral
European AI company with open-weights models. Choose this for EU-jurisdiction processing or if you prefer Mistral's stack. Also offers a free tier with limited usage.
Custom Provider
Use Anthropic Claude via OpenRouter, Google Gemini, a self-hosted vLLM server, or any other OpenAI-compatible API. FuelFit needs a multimodal model that accepts images. The Base URL and Model fields are fully editable for complete flexibility.
Honest AI Label. When coaching falls back to built-in templates (toggle off, no key, or AI failure), the "AI" badge disappears from the Insights card so you always know what's actually generated. Read the full transparency guide →
